Pittsburgh, PA - August 8, 2025 - Sensible Photonics, Inc., an innovator in next-generation fiber optic sensing technologies, proudly announces the appointment of Michelle McGregor-Smith as Chief Executive Officer. Her appointment signals a new era for the company as it builds on early development milestones and accelerates toward commercial scale-up in energy grid resilience and industrial infrastructure monitoring.


McGregor-Smith brings a strong track record of driving growth and operational performance across the Energy, Oil & Gas, Specialty Chemicals, and Advanced Manufacturing sectors. Her leadership in global sustainability and capital deployment directly supports Sensible Photonics’ mission to improve infrastructure reliability and reduce risk across aging energy systems.
